iOS
iOS Mail App
Server Information:
- IMAP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- SMTP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
- Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other.
- Choose Add Mail Account.
- Enter your Name, Email, Password, and Description.
- Tap Next. If settings aren't found automatically, choose IMAP.
- For Incoming Mail Server:
- Host Name: heracles.mxrouting.net
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password - For Outgoing Mail Server:
- Host Name: heracles.mxrouting.net
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password - Tap Next, then Save. You're done!
Android
Gmail App (for other email providers)
Server Information:
- IMAP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- SMTP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
- Open the Gmail app and tap the menu icon.
- Tap Settings > Add account > Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Manual setup.
- Choose IMAP account.
- For Incoming server settings:
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password
- Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- Port: 993
- Security type: SSL/TLS - Tap Next.
- For Outgoing server settings:
- SMTP server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- Port: 465
- Security type: SSL/TLS
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password - Tap Next, then give your account a name.
- Tap Finish. You're all set!
Mac OS
Apple Mail
Server Information:
- IMAP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- SMTP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL) or 143 (non-SSL)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS)
- Open Apple Mail.
- Go to Mail > Add Account....
- Choose "Other Mail Account..." and click Continue.
- Enter your Name, Email Address, and Password, then click Sign In.
- If Apple Mail doesn't detect settings automatically, click Next for manual setup.
- For Incoming Mail Server, select IMAP and enter: heracles.mxrouting.net Use port 993 for SSL (recommended) or 143 for non-SSL.
- For Outgoing Mail Server, enter: heracles.mxrouting.net Use port 465 for SSL (recommended) or 587 for STARTTLS.
- Click Sign In, then Done. You're set.
Microsoft Outlook for Mac
Server Information:
- IMAP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- SMTP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL)
- Launch Outlook.
- Navigate to Tools > Accounts.
- Click the + button, then choose New Account....
- Type in your email address, click Continue, then select IMAP/SMTP.
- Fill in your Username, Password, and these server details: - Incoming server: heracles.mxrouting.net - Outgoing server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- Adjust port numbers: 993 for IMAP SSL, 465 for SMTP SSL.
- Click Add Account. You're good to go.
Thunderbird
Server Information:
- IMAP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- SMTP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
- Open Thunderbird.
- Go to Account Settings > Account Actions > Add Mail Account.
- Enter your Name, Email Address, and Password. Click Continue.
- Select Manual Configuration.
- Enter these server settings: - IMAP server: heracles.mxrouting.net, Port: 993, SSL/TLS - SMTP server: heracles.mxrouting.net, Port: 465, SSL/TLS
- Hit Done. You've nailed it.
Windows
Microsoft Outlook
Server Information:
- IMAP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- SMTP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
- Open Outlook.
- Navigate to File > Account Settings > Account Settings....
- Click New, choose Manual setup, and click Next.
- Select POP or IMAP and click Next.
- Fill in your details, including these server settings:
- Incoming mail server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- Outgoing mail server: heracles.mxrouting.net - Click More Settings.
- Under Outgoing Server, check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
- Adjust advanced settings:
- IMAP: Port 993, SSL/TLS encryption
- SMTP: Port 465, SSL/TLS encryption - Click OK, Next, and Finish. You're all set.
Thunderbird
Server Information:
- IMAP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- SMTP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
- Open Thunderbird.
- Go to Account Settings > Account Actions > Add Mail Account.
- Enter your Name, Email Address, and Password. Click Continue.
- Click Manual Configuration to enter server settings yourself.
- Enter these details:
- IMAP server: heracles.mxrouting.net, Port: 993, SSL/TLS
- SMTP server: heracles.mxrouting.net, Port: 465, SSL/TLS - Click Done. You've got this.
Linux
Thunderbird
Server Information:
- IMAP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- SMTP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
- Launch Thunderbird.
- Navigate to Account Settings > Account Actions > Add Mail Account.
- Input your Name, Email Address, and Password. Click Continue.
- Choose Manual Configuration.
- Enter these settings: - IMAP server: heracles.mxrouting.net, Port: 993, SSL/TLS - SMTP server: heracles.mxrouting.net, Port: 465, SSL/TLS
- Click Done. Welcome to the club.
Evolution
Server Information:
- IMAP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- SMTP Server: heracles.mxrouting.net
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
- Open Evolution.
- Go to File > New > Mail Account.
- Enter your name and email address, then click Next.
- Select IMAP for the incoming server type and enter: Server: heracles.mxrouting.net, Port: 993, Use SSL/TLS
- Enter SMTP settings for outgoing mail: Server: heracles.mxrouting.net, Port: 465, Use SSL/TLS
- Configure authentication settings as needed.
- Click Apply. You're now part of the Evolution.
Remember:
Always use SSL/TLS connections when available for better security. If you encounter issues, double-check all server details and port numbers with your email provider.
